Embroidery Production Assistant

Arrow Uniforms is on the lookout for an Embroidery Production Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis in our brand-new, purpose-built offices in Silverstream.

In this role, you will be assisting with preparation of garments before and after the embroidery process, applying digital prints, and assisting with folding, packaging and processing items, while ensuring high quality workmanship and timely production as part of the wider Logistics operation.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting before and after embroidery processes (unbagging, trimming, folding garments)
• Complete orders in a timely and accurate manner to achieve completion deadlines.
• Ensure client's orders are readied, framed and packaged before the date of delivery.
• Unbag garments and prepare items for embroidery.
• Fold garments neatly after embroidery and finishing.
• Trim loose threads and check finish quality.
• Sort, count, and bundle garments by job or order.
• Stage completed work for the next operation or dispatch.
• Keep work areas clean and organised.
• Support machine operators
• Operate heatpress machine (training provided).

About you

• A dynamic self-starter that can hit the ground running
• While experience with embroidery machines would be ideal, we’re equally open to applicants who bring a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
• An eye for detail and colour
• Basic Computer literacy
• Full-time availability for 42.5-45 hours per week.
• Standard 8am to 5pm work day available, or set your own within a 5am to 8pm range!
• Experience in garment manufacturing or sewing is a plus.
