EMC Validation - Test Engineer

Primary Skills Strong understanding of electronic hardware fundamentals.

Hands-on experience in electronic hardware troubleshooting and debugging.

Experience in PCB design review and schematic analysis.

Sound knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) principles and validation methodologies.

Practical experience with Automotive EMC standards: o CISPR 25 o ISO 11452 o ISO 10605

Good understanding of automotive communication protocols: o CAN o LIN o FlexRay o Automotive Ethernet Experience with Configuration Management and Requirement Management tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment.

Secondary Skills

Knowledge of automotive validation tools and test automation environments.

Familiarity with validation software and laboratory test equipment.

Understanding of engineering change management processes.

Experience working with external EMC laboratories and certification activities.

Knowledge of wiring harness preparation and EMC load box configuration. Exposure to automotive product development lifecycle (V-Model/APQP) is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience in Automotive Electronics, ECU Validation, or EMC Compliance Testing.

Prior experience working with Tier-1 suppliers or Automotive OEMs is preferred.
