Emergency Nurse

Overview We are seeking a courageous and highly skilled Emergency Staff Nurse to join our fast-paced hospital emergency room (or urgent care clinic), where you will be the frontline of critical patient care . This demanding and rewarding role involves executing essential emergency procedures , assisting physicians during high-stakes treatments, meticulously monitoring vital signs, and performing crucial tasks such as cleaning and dressing wounds, administering medications, and inserting IVs. You will serve as a vital link between the patient and the care team , communicating treatment plans and guiding recovery, making you an indispensable hero in providing immediate, life-saving support and ensuring patient well-being during their most urgent moments.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness.
• Immediately stabilize incoming patients
• Administer medication as instructed by physicians.
• Start intravenous lines and set broken bones.
• Assist Physician for perform tracheotomies and intubations.
• Assist physician to give patients stitches and sutures.
• Create and maintain incoming patient records.
• Work with a team of emergency staff to help patients.
• Help transfer stable patients to other wings.

QUALIFICATION

• Expert knowledge of emergency medicine
• Active RN license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional multitasking and time-management skills
• Ability to work closely with a team and patients.
• Willingness to continually learn the latest advancements in emergency medicine.
• Ability to place intravenous lines, set bones and perform other emergency medical tasks quickly and efficiently.
