Emergency Response Officer

Our client is a leading sustainability management client for various sites across Australia - due to continuous growth and operational improvements, are seeking an Emergency Response Officer for one of their sites based in Western Australia on a 2 Week On 2 Week Off roster. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Complete medical stock checks for all requirements including medications, medical supplies etc and ensuring adequate stock levels
• Providing essential and precautionary assistance and provide medical advice on how to treat the conditions whether serious or non serious
• Complete Drug and Alcohol testing with conjunction with HSE
• Provide training and assistance to the Emergency Response Team and coordination of site drills etc when required
• Complete any injury management prognosis and rehabilitation, liaising with various stakeholders for any reporting requirements etc.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ Years in a similar position on site or in a remote environment - for Emergency Services
• Experience with diagnosis and providing strong medical advise based on the injury or issue
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualification / Certification Requirements

• Cert IV - Health Care
• Advanced Life Support
• Drug and Alcohol Certification
• Current and Valid Drivers Licence
• Police Clearance within 12 Months
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights required (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or eligible visa holder). No visa sponsorship available.
