Emergency Response Team (ERT)

We are looking for a responsible and well-trained Emergency Response Team (ERT) Member to support emergency preparedness, response, and safety operations. The successful candidate will respond promptly to emergencies, assist in evacuations, provide initial emergency support, and coordinate with the relevant internal teams and emergency services when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and safety-related situations.
• Assist in implementing emergency response and evacuation procedures.
• Support the safe evacuation of employees, visitors, customers, and other personnel during emergencies.
• Provide basic first aid and emergency assistance within the scope of training.
• Assist in managing incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, accidents, and other workplace emergencies.
• Operate and assist with emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers, emergency alarms, first-aid kits, and other safety equipment.
• Conduct regular checks of emergency equipment and report any defects or shortages.
• Maintain clear communication with Security, Operations, HR, HSE, and Management during emergency situations.
• Coordinate with police, ambulance, fire and rescue services, or other emergency authorities when required.
• Assist with crowd control and maintaining safe access and evacuation routes.
• Participate in emergency drills, fire drills, evacuation exercises, and safety training.
• Report incidents, accidents, hazards, and emergency situations to the appropriate supervisor or Management.
• Prepare basic incident and emergency response reports when required.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling emergency situations.
• Perform other safety and emergency-response duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Emergency Response, Security, HSE, Safety, First Aid, Fire & Safety, or a similar role is preferred.
• Valid First Aid/CPR and Fire Safety certification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of emergency response and evacuation procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of responding quickly during emergencies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and during emergencies when required.
• Basic English communication skills.
• UAE experience is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
