Emergency Room RN (Full-Time)

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The nurse develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborates with the healthcare team, and assesses physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a healing environment by educating patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management.
• Participate in safety, quality, and compliance initiatives, and engage in professional development.
• Develop and communicate care plans with clear goals, ensuring continuity across care settings.
• Assess patient needs, preferences, and barriers, including emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
• Work in a safety-sensitive capacity, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Active RN licensure.
• Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
• Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration abilities; ability to work safely and effectively in a healthcare environment.
