Emergency Vehicle Program Installer

Job Overview

Put your technical skills to work on equipment that helps emergency-response teams operate safely and effectively. As an Emergency Vehicle Program Installer, you will develop or create and install a program for warning and safety systems, including lights, sirens, controllers, and speakers.

Duties

• Create a program within Whelen, Federa Signal, or SoundOff Signal programming software to control the Warning Safety Systems.
• Collaborate with parts personnel to identify and obtain the right components.
• Document completed work clearly and accurately.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship while keeping customer vehicles clean and protected.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Support installation technicians when teamwork is needed to complete a job.

Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant service, installation, automotive electrical, or equivalent vocational experience is preferred
• Previous 12-volt experience is preferred
• Previous experience with Whelen, Federal Signal, and SoundOff Signal a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
