Are you experienced in vehicle emissions certification and looking to work on cutting-edge automotive programmes? Akkodis is supporting a leading automotive engineering programme and is seeking an Emissions Certification Engineer to play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet global regulatory requirements across the UK, EU, and international markets.

This is an excellent opportunity to work at the forefront of emissions compliance, collaborating with engineering teams, test facilities, and certification authorities to support vehicle programmes from development through to market approval.

What You'll Be Doing:

✅ Supporting emissions certification activities for EU, UK and UN ECE markets

✅ Coordinating and supporting witnessed certification testing at third-party facilities

✅ Managing certification documentation and test vehicle readiness

✅ Working with type approval authorities to develop worst-case agreements

✅ Supporting fleet emissions activities across global markets

✅ Collaborating with internal engineering teams and external regulatory bodies

✅ Proactively identifying and resolving certification issues to maintain programme timing

✅ Supporting UK and overseas testing activities when required

What We're Looking For:

✔ Experience with EU and UN ECE emissions certification testing

✔ Knowledge of evaporative emissions testing

✔ Understanding of vehicle certification processes and regulatory compliance

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

✔ Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or technical discipline

✔ Full UK Driving Licence
