Salary Banding: £26,000 - £32,000 based on skills and Experience-Prorata to 37.5 hours per week

Hours -30 Hours per week

Base: Newtown-SY161DZ
Contract type: Permanent

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday

What are the core responsibilities of this role?

• Delivering training sessions using a variety of teaching methods to engage, support and motivate learners to enhance their skills and progression opportunities into employment
• Develop creative lesson plans incorporating differentiated teaching styles and activities to ensure a quality learning experience
• Planning and supporting the learner in their individual learning journey
• Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications to a quality standard in a timely fashion
• Prepare, deliver and coach learners in a group-based setting, through their Employability programmes from enrolment/induction through to completion.
• Provide engaging and exciting training sessions to inspire and motivate learners.
• Support learners to progress onwards through a variety of progressions routes including employment opportunities and other training pathways such as apprenticeships.
• Job coaching and supporting work experience

• Experience of working with young people and passionate about making a difference
• Engaging and inspirational training / delivery style
• Job coaching and supporting work experience
• Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET/PGCE or equivalent.
• Ability to speak Welsh desirable
• This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.

The successful appointment will need to be self-registered with the Education Workforce Council as a Work-Based Learning Practitioner.
