About The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Benefits Administrator to join the Prosperous Financial team, with a particular focus on Employee Benefits and Group Pensions.
This is a key role within the team and we are looking for someone who has previous hands-on experience working within employee benefits or group pensions and understands the administration involved in supporting both employer clients and their employees.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and servicing of group pension and employee benefit arrangements, working closely with Financial Advisors, employers, employees and providers to ensure an efficient and high-quality service.
The role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple schemes and priorities, with strong attention to detail and a clear understanding of the importance of accuracy, compliance and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and ongoing servicing of group pension schemes and employee benefit arrangements for employer clients.
- Coordinate the initial scheme set-up process, working closely with employers, Financial Advisors and providers to ensure all required information and documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Support employer clients throughout the implementation process, providing clear guidance on the information and actions required from them to successfully establish their scheme.
- Liaise directly with employer clients, employees and providers, acting as a key point of contact for administration and servicing queries.
- Coordinate with providers to progress queries, resolve issues and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
- Support Financial Advisors in the ongoing management and servicing of Employee Benefits clients.
- Prepare documentation and information required for client meetings, employee engagement and scheme reviews.
- Respond to employer and employee queries relating to pension and benefit arrangements, escalating advice-related queries to the appropriate Financial Advisor.
- Maintain accurate and complete client and scheme records across internal systems.
- Ensure all administration and documentation is completed accurately and in line with internal processes and compliance requirements.
Skills And Experience:
- QFA qualification is essential; further qualifications such as PTP (Pension Trustee Practitioner) or specialist education in pensions or Employee Benefits would be an advantage.
- Previous experience working in an Employee Benefits or Group Pensions administration role is essential.
- Strong practical knowledge of group pension schemes, employee benefits and the scheme implementation process.
- Experience liaising directly with employers, employees and pension providers within an Employee Benefits environment.
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with employers, employees, providers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to take ownership of queries and follow actions through to completion.
- Strong understanding of the importance of accurate record keeping, documentation and compliance within a regulated financial services environment.
Why work with us:
- Excellent remuneration package and competitive bonus structure
- Hybrid, flexible working model (4 days from home / 1 day in office)
