Employee Relation Specialist

This position is responsible for reviewing & implementation of company rules and regulation to ensure employee welfare. Responsible for facilitating employee relations and resolving human resource issues on behalf of OCS

FUNCTIONAL ASPECT

• Encourage and train the employees to give their maximum output and meeting the company standards through New Employees Orientation, Re-Orientation of Existing Employees
• Reviews recommended discipline and provide the HR Head with a report and recommendation based on policy and procedures as to whether such disciplinary action should be approved/imposed
• Networks, coordinates and establishes good rapport and relationship with all possible sources for employee development including but not limited to universities, government agencies, associations, etc.
• Conducts projects visits to implement the “Kumustahan” (engaged meeting with project personnel) and attend and proactively address to the concerns/grievances of employees
• Supervise all in-house training
• Communicate with public services or statutory entities when necessary
• Monitor and ensure timely submission Separation/Resignation and conducts Employee Exit Interviews
• Handle minor cases and monitor labor cases within the company
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluation and other HR functions)
• Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
• Performs employee relation related duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time

COUNTRY LEVEL PERSPECTIVE

• Compliance to other local regulatory compliance apart for compensation and benefits such as registration renewal, certification and licenses related to general labor standards, OSH standards, employment, recruitment, trainings, etc.
• Participates in community efforts as part of company CSR.
• Consistently participates in the company’s environmental sustainability compliances

REGIONAL PERSPECTIVE

• Alignment and compliance with regional HR processes, policies and standards
• Compliance to regional systems implementation and management base plan

• Knowledge in Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
• Knowledge in Performance Management
• Can handle events management
• Document handling and monitoring
• Knowledge in Computer Operations
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong Networks with Local entities
• Effective training and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Psychology, Human Resource or any other course related
