Employment Developer

Southeast Healthcare is seeking an Employment Developer to join our Vocational Services program! In this role, you’ll build relationships with local employers, develop employment opportunities, and connect Southeast patients with meaningful work opportunities that support their journey toward independence and success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities for Southeast patients in Delaware, Franklin, and Morrow Counties.

• Apply sales, marketing, networking, and customer-relations practices to identify and develop employment opportunities

• Maintain accurate documentation of employer contacts, job leads, placements, and program outcomes.

• Identify labor market trends and emerging employment opportunities within the community.

• Collaborate with community agencies and workforce development partners to expand employment resources.

• Coordinate with Vocational Services staff to match patients with appropriate job openings.

• Follow up with employers and patients to support successful job placements and long-term employment retention.

• Documents employer contacts, job-development activities, placements, and outcomes as required.

• Minimum of AA/BA required.

• Experience in sales and customer service preferred.

• Experience with SPMI and/or SUD population a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

• High level of personal accountability and effective time management.

• Valid driver's license and insurance.
