What they need

Make a difference every day. Inspire confidence. Create opportunities.

At Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside, we're looking for a passionate and motivated Employment Facilitator to support young people across Blackpool to overcome barriers, unlock their potential and take positive steps towards employment, education and training.

This is more than a job.

It's an opportunity to empower young people to believe in themselves, develop new skills and create pathways into rewarding futures. Through coaching, mentoring, workshops and community engagement, you'll play a vital role in transforming lives and strengthening local communities.

Working as part of our programme, you'll deliver engaging group sessions and tailored one-to-one support, helping young people gain the confidence, skills and experience needed to move into sustainable employment, education or training.

You'll work closely with employers, community partners and local services to ensure every participant receives the support they need to succeed.

The Difference You'll Make

"The young people you support today could become the workforce, leaders and changemakers of tomorrow."

If you're passionate about helping others reach their potential and want a career where every day brings the opportunity to make a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.

The Employment Facilitator service is designed to support young people who are unemployed, economically inactive or at risk of becoming NEET to develop the confidence, skills and resilience needed to progress into employment, education or training. The role provides a holistic, person-centred approach that combines engaging group learning with tailored one-to-one support, helping participants identify their strengths, overcome barriers and build realistic pathways towards sustainable outcomes. Drawing on practical employability training, personal development activities and workplace preparation, the service equips young people with the skills, behaviours and confidence needed to succeed in the labour market.

Working closely with employers, Job Brokers, education providers and local support services, the Employment Facilitator helps create a seamless progression journey for each participant. Through group workshops, coaching, sector taster preparation, career planning, wellbeing support and referrals to specialist services, the programme supports young people to address challenges such as low confidence, limited work experience, caring responsibilities, wellbeing concerns and skills gaps. By connecting participants with opportunities, support networks and employer engagement activities, the service enables young people to increase their employability, strengthen their independence and achieve positive long-term progression into work, learning and training.

Join us in creating opportunities, changing lives and building stronger communities.

Apply today and help shape someone's future.
