The Employment Investigation Analyst is an entry-level to early-career investigations professional responsible for supporting workplace investigations and related case management activities. This role focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality support for lower-complexity matters and assisting with the factual, documentation, and workflow components of medium-complexity investigations. The Employment Investigation Analyst works within a structured operating model, utilizing standardized playbooks, templates, and quality controls to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer requirements. • Review documents, evidence, and case materials; organize information into chronologies, evidence logs, and issue summaries.
  • Compare facts against applicable policies, procedures, and investigation playbooks under the direction of more senior investigators.
  • Prepare factual summaries, closure notes, evidence indexes, and draft case documentation.
  • Maintain accurate case records, status updates, and documentation within customer-approved case management systems.
  • Escalate potential risks, missing information, conflicting evidence, or unusual fact patterns to mid-level or senior investigators.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives by following established workflows, templates, checklists, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Assist with preparation of investigation files and related reporting requirements.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and service level expectations within a high-volume operating environment.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company and customer requirements.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in legal operations, paralegal services, employee relations support, compliance operations, investigations support, or employment litigation support.
  • Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment with defined workflows and quality standards.
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Skills for Success

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills, with the ability to summarize facts clearly and objectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and organize documents and evidence efficiently.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, templates, and investigative protocols.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Sound judgment regarding when to escalate issues or seek guidance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and case management or workflow tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Degrees in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Business Administration, Political Science, Psychology, or related disciplines are preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications, paralegal certification, HR certifications, or investigation-related training are considered a plus.

Compensation

  • The pay rate for this on-site temporary role is $29-34/hour based on job-related skills and experience.
