Employment Specialist

Title: Employment Specialist, Mobile and Baldwin County – Community-Focused Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate salesperson to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a background in sales who thrives in a people-centered environment and is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of adults with disabilities. A key component is to seek job openings for individuals on the caseload and to follow up on job retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, counselors, and community partners
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize strong computer skills for documentation, communication, and tracking sales activities
• Collaborate with team members to meet goals and deliver exceptional service
• Provide support and guidance tailored to individuals with disabilities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales required
• Comfortable working in a sales environment; cold calling required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to multitask and stay organized
• Proficient with computers and common office software
• Experience working with and understanding adults with disabilities is highly preferred
• Reliable transportation is required

Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Human Services or related field from an accredited education institution and/or at least two years experience working with people with disabilities – must have a flexible schedule. Job pays $28,860.00 per year EOE
