EMS OBD (Lead Engineer/ Manager)

In this role, you will be instrumental in the Powertrain/Thermal Technical Center, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.

• Lead EMS OBD development.
• Own SOR, DFMEA and calibration.
• Lead OBD1/OBD2 calibration and control.
• Lead exhaust after-treatment, intake and EVAP OBD.
• Lead base-model OBD calibration.
• Define and validate OBD components.
• Participate in test-bed, chassis dyno, vehicle, road and environmental testing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience for Lead Engineer
• 10+ years of experience for Manager
• Strong experience in EMS SW & calibration.
• Hands-on experience with ICE sensors/actuators and lambda sensors.
• Experience in catalyst & GPF calibration/control.
• Experience in base-model calibration.
• Strong knowledge of OBD1 & OBD2 algorithms, OBM and IUPR strategies. Good knowledge of ICE & engine auxiliaries.

Good understanding of homologation and emission regulations.
