Job Description:
We are seeking certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team. As an EMT at Apex EMS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from healthcare facilities. You will work closely with other EMTs and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care during transit.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles.
• Respond promptly to non-emergency and emergency calls.
• Provide basic life support (BLS) and patient care as needed.
• Assist with patient transfers, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care.
• Inspect and restock medical equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to all company protocols and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois EMT-B or EMT-P certification.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 125 pounds.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and professional care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in non-emergency medical transport or EMS.
• Familiarity with local healthcare facilities and communities.
