Encapsulation Associate – Trading Cards

Degree Grading is a trading card grading company hiring a full-time Encapsulation Associate to join our production team.

This is a hands-on production role focused on sealing graded trading cards into protective slabs, handling customer property carefully, following a structured workflow, and performing quality control checks throughout the day.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys repetitive, detail-focused work, can follow the same process consistently, and is comfortable being measured on both speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Seal graded cards and labels into slabs with accuracy and care
• Operate basic encapsulation and sealing equipment according to company procedures
• Confirm the correct card, label, and slab components are matched before sealing
• Inspect slabs for scratches, debris, alignment issues, sealing defects, and presentation issues
• Follow software prompts and production workflow in the correct sequence
• Maintain output expectations without sacrificing quality or product handling
• Identify issues that require rework, review, or escalation
• Help ensure customer orders move through production accurately and efficiently
• Handle customer property carefully throughout the encapsulation process

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand at a production station for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements throughout the day
• Ability to handle delicate customer items with care
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
