Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Encompass QA Analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that IT products, services, and processes meet business requirements, regulatory standards, quality expectations, and customer needs.

The role will primarily focus on Quality Assurance and testing of Encompass LOS (Loan Origination System) while supporting related software, processes, hardware, networking, and security requirements. The candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, test planning, defect management, regression testing, and working with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate systems, operations, and practices against regulatory requirements and business requirements documents.
• Provide technical and project support for the development, analysis, testing, and maintenance of Encompass LOS and related applications.
• Design and execute complex test scripts and scenarios covering multiple systems and environments.
• Create and execute QA test strategies to verify that enhancements meet business requirements and user expectations.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Execute test cases and document results accurately.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, compatibility, usability, reliability, exploratory, load, and stress testing as required.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate defects with sufficient details for effective resolution.
• Identify quality risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Perform manual testing to ensure new functionality does not negatively affect existing functionality or the end-user experience.
• Develop and maintain regression test plans and suites.
• Collaborate with QA analysts to establish testing best practices and maintain consistency across projects.
• Work closely with Software Development, Project Management, Business, and UAT teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with business UAT resources to ensure appropriate user acceptance testing before deployment.
• Document and communicate testing progress, results, defects, risks, and release readiness to project teams and management.
• Provide internal updates to team members, team leaders, and IT management.
• Stay updated with emerging QA technologies, testing methodologies, automation techniques, and industry trends.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• 3+ years of experience working with technologies/platforms such as Encompass, Land Gorilla, Jira, or similar systems.
• Experience with Encompass LOS is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the Mortgage Origination and Servicing industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Liberal Arts & Sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• QA or software testing certification such as ISTQB is preferred.
• Knowledge of QA automation tools or automation techniques is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced QA professional with strong Encompass LOS and mortgage-domain knowledge, capable of independently planning and executing testing activities while collaborating closely with development, business, UAT, and project management teams.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
