End User Computing (EUC) / Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary

The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for delivering on-site End User Computing (EUC) and endpoint support services within a fast-paced and highly regulated banking environment. The role focuses on ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of endpoint devices and workplace technology services used by bank employees.

The successful candidate will provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, collaboration tools, and related workplace technologies while maintaining high standards of customer service, operational excellence, security compliance, and service delivery.

The engineer is expected to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and support business-critical users while ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed service levels.

Qualifications

Education

· Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Experience

· Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Desktop Support, EUC Support, Workplace Technology Support, or End User Services.

· Proven experience supporting Windows-based desktop and laptop environments.

· Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and enterprise workplace technologies.

· Experience working within SLA-driven support environments.

· Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments is preferred.

Technical Skills

· Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration and support.

· Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook support.

· Active Directory and Azure Active Directory user administration.

· Endpoint deployment, imaging, and software installation.

· Hardware troubleshooting and break-fix support.

· Printer and peripheral support.

· Basic network troubleshooting capabilities.

· Endpoint security and compliance support.

· Knowledge of SCCM/MECM, Intune, or equivalent endpoint management tools will be an added advantage.

· Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Endpoint support and maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Endpoint Compliance and Security Support: 1 year (Preferred)
• End User Computing (EUC): 1 year (Preferred)
