End User Support Specialist

YOUR ROLE

As an end user support specialist, you are the front line of support for Bold Penguin employees when they need assistance with their technology. That means you’re helping with computer issues, setting up new hardware, assisting with A/V and networking needs in-office and controlling access to the many software systems in use at Bold Penguin.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Respond to help desk tickets through Slack and email in a timely fashion.
• Perform password resets and basic troubleshooting for a wide variety Software-As-A-Service applications, including Slack, Google, Okta, Tableau, Active Directory, Microsoft Remote Desktop and many others.
• In office audio/visual support for Zoom Room and other video conferencing hardware.
• Physical setup of new and replacement Mac and Windows computers for new hires and break/fix
• Work as a system administrator to provision account access for new hires and adjust existing hire permissions, role-based accesses as directed.
• Support in office events from an audio/visual perspective including live-streaming/recording in-person employee events
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

YOUR LOCATION
This is an in-office job. Applicants must be local to Dublin, Ohio.

S****kills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
• 3-5 years of end user support, help desk assistance, desktop technical assistance required
• Knowledge of various identity providers and their administration, Okta, Azure, EntraID, Active Directory very preferred
• Nice to have: CompTIA certifications, including but not limited to A+, Network+, Security+ and others, networking experience (Meraki preferred), experience with VOIP systems including Google Voice, Twilio, Zoom Phone/Workspace, MacOS and Windows OS troubleshooting experience, basic scripting knowledge, experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, VMWare Workspace One or other endpoint management, experience with mobile device management platforms including Apple Business Manager (Device Enrollment Program), SimpleMDM or others

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day), at a desk working on a computer.
• Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
