Job Title: Endoscopy Technician

Department: Gastroenterology / Endoscopy Unit

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy suite and equipment for procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures by handling instruments and supplies.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment following protocols.
• Monitor and ensure the functionality of all endoscopy equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure records.
• Transport specimens to the laboratory as needed.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines strictly.
• Assist with inventory management of endoscopy supplies and equipment.
• Participate in regular training and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Certification as Endoscopy Technician or related healthcare certification (preferred).
