Endoscopy Technician II-GI Lab

Job Objective:

• Assists physicians with all basic endoscopic procedures including advanced and complex procedures requiring advanced training. Reprocesses procedural scopes, bedside, manual and HLD cleaning, maintenance and storage of the endoscopy equipment.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: High school diploma, GED or higher level degree
• Preferred: Completion of Advanced EUS/ERCP Training, the SGNA Associates Program and Advance Program Modules

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: American Heart Association BLS

Experience:

Required: Two (2) years of experience as Endoscopy Technician or similar position

• Preferred: Endoscopy Technician experience
