Endpoint Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Endpoint Engineer to join our client’s technology team as an embedded, full-time engineering resource. This role was created to relieve an endpoint team operating at full capacity and to drive platform optimization, automation, and documentation modernization across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Endpoint Device Management: Administer and optimize Intune (Microsoft) and Kandji (Apple) across the full device fleet
• Microsoft 365 Optimization: Manage and optimize the M365 environment including licensing, policies, and platform governance
• Collaboration Platform Administration: Administer Box, Slack, and Zoom environments
• Automation & Tooling: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation initiatives to reduce manual workload
• Documentation: Create and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, and architecture documentation; close gaps left by legacy Managed Service Provider environments
• Platform Governance: Mature operational processes and platform governance
• After-Hours Support: Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage rotation to reduce burden on internal engineers
• Onboarding & Standards: Establish and enforce endpoint build standards and configuration baselines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Kandji MDM platforms
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and optimization
• Experience with collaboration tools: Box, Slack, Zoom
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Experience creating technical documentation and runbooks
• Ability to work independently as an embedded team member
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to travel to the United States approximately 20% of the time
