What they need
About the Company
Our client is an established Singapore-based group in the essential services sector, operating a growing footprint of plants and facilities. As the business scales, they are strengthening their energy management and compliance function.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role for an SCEM-certified professional to take ownership of the company's energy management strategy and statutory reporting. You'll work directly with senior leadership as a business partner and advisor on energy matters — not just executing reports, but proposing cost-saving and efficiency initiatives as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation's Energy Management Programme, monitoring electricity, fuel, gas, and water consumption to identify efficiency opportunities
- Prepare statutory reporting under the Energy Conservation Act (Energy Use Reporting, Energy Efficiency Improvement Plan) and Carbon Pricing Act (Greenhouse Gas Emission Reporting)
- Prepare Energy Management System (EnMS) reporting and Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment reporting
- Maintain ISO 50001 (Energy Management) and support ISO 14001 (Environmental) certification requirements
- Support ISCC reporting for green fuel and green energy
- Work closely with Operations teams to establish data collection and reporting workflows
- Identify and propose energy efficiency and cost-saving projects
- Support broader Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) functions as the role develops — full SHEQ ownership not required from day one
Requirements
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) — required
- Prior experience in energy reporting, energy audits, or energy management, ideally within a process plant, manufacturing, utilities, or similar operational environment
- Familiarity with Energy Conservation Act, Carbon Pricing Act, or ISO 50001/14001 frameworks advantageous
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven with the ability to operate independently in a newly created, evolving role
- SHEQ/EHS background a plus, but not essential
Other offers great for you!
