Engagement Director

About the Role: As an Engagement Director based in Dubai, you will lead strategic client initiatives by blending deep technical expertise in solution architecture and SDLC with strong non-technical skills in program management, product ownership, and client engagement. You will drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions, while building and maintaining long term relationships with C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead client engagements from proposal through delivery, ensuring business objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline
• Collaborate with clients to define requirements, solution roadmaps, and key performance indicators
• Oversee the design and implementation of technical solutions in line with SDLC best practices
• Manage program plans, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and change control processes
• Act as product owner for key deliverables, prioritizing features and managing backlogs
• Build and maintain executive level relationships to foster trust, drive adoption, and secure renewals
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of architects, developers, and business analysts in a matrixed environment
• Monitor engagement health, report status to stakeholders, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and governance policies

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 7 12 years of experience in client engagement, program management, product ownership, or solution architecture
• Proven track record as an Engagement Director or in a senior client-facing leadership role
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in solution architecture and SDLC methodologies
• Demonstrated success managing complex programs, budgets, and timelines
• Experience with agile frameworks and product backlog management
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel regionally as required
• Master s degree (MBA, MSc) or equivalent
• Certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, or Certified Scrum Product Owner
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and digital transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with the Middle East market and regional regulatory landscape
• Fluency in Arabic or additional regional languages
• Experience with enterprise CRM or ERP implementations
