We are hiring a Software Engineer for a global payment technology fintech operating across multiple countries and processing billions of dollars in transactions daily .

The company partners with some of the largest global brands in streaming, mobility, e-commerce, and technology — combining international scale with the pace and energy of a high-growth environment in Brazil.

You will work directly on solutions at the very core of the business: payments . You'll be building event-driven, highly scalable, mission-critical distributed systems, contributing to products where reliability, observability, quality, and availability are paramount .

💻 What you'll do

⚙️ Backend development — build, evolve, and maintain high-performance applications and services

🏗️ Distributed architecture — design event-driven, scalable, and resilient solutions

🧠 Technical decision-making — actively contribute to the evolution of system architecture

🧪 Quality first — implement and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, load, regression)

📊 Observability — monitor service health in production using modern metrics and tools

🚨 Troubleshooting — investigate and resolve incidents in production environments

🚀 Performance and scalability — drive availability, reliability, and performance

☁️ Cloud and cross-functional teams — work in cloud environments alongside distributed engineering teams

🌎 Global collaboration — daily routine with the London team and other international teams

🔍 Code reviews and technical discussions — strong culture of peer review and continuous growth

✅ What you need to have

• Solid experience in backend development (Java, .NET, Go, Python, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with distributed and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs
• Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Docker, Kubernetes , and containerization
• Relational and non-relational databases
• CI/CD and strong automated testing culture
• Observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
• Advanced/fluent English (you'll interact daily with international teams, especially London)

Nice to have:

✨ Previous experience in fintech or payment processing

✨ Background with high-availability and mission-critical transactional systems

✨ Knowledge of resilience patterns (circuit breaker, retry, idempotency)
