Engineer, AI (Information Technology)

We are looking for a motivated Engineer, AI (Junior to Mid-Level) to help design, build, and deploy production-ready AI applications and agentic workflows. You will leverage modern LLM frameworks—specifically Dify—to build low-latency RAG pipelines, integrate AI agents into enterprise systems, and streamline business automation.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• AI Workflow & Agent Development: Build, test, and optimize AI applications, multi-agent workflows, and RAG pipelines using Dify and standard AI frameworks.
• System & API Integration: Connect Dify workflows and AI capabilities to internal databases, REST APIs, webhooks, and enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, ERP, messaging tools).
• Prompt Engineering & Tuning: Craft, evaluate, and iterate on system prompts, context window management, and fallback mechanisms to maximize output quality and reduce hallucinations.
• Pipeline Optimization: Benchmark LLM providers (commercial and open-source models) to optimize response latency, retrieval accuracy, and token usage cost.
• Maintenance & Monitoring: Debug distributed application flows, set up logging/monitoring, and ensure output quality control and data privacy.

Job Specifications :

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software development, Python scripting, or AI application development.

• Dify Expertise (Required): Proven practical experience using Dify for orchestration, custom tool calling/plugins, RAG setup, and workflow deployment.

• Core Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python and standard backend web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask) or API integrations.
  • Practical knowledge of RAG architectures, vector search (e.g., PGVector, Qdrant, Pinecone), and embedding models.
  • Hands-on familiarity with major LLM APIs including Qwen (Alibaba Cloud / DashScope), OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, or local open-source model deployments via Ollama/vLLM.

• Tooling & Infrastructure: Basic experience with Docker, Git, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud fundamentals (AWS/Azure/GCP/Alibaba Cloud).

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, willingness to learn rapidly in a fast-changing space, and good teamwork/communication skills.

• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
