Engineer (BIM Modeler & Shop Drawing)

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Protection, and HVAC systems in accordance with project requirements and construction standards.
2. Utilize BIM software to develop coordinated 3D models for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Protection, and HVAC systems.
3. Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, structural engineers, and project teams to develop coordinated MEP BIM models.
4. Maintain and update BIM models regularly to reflect design revisions, construction changes, and project requirements.
5. Perform model reviews and clash detection using BIM tools to identify and resolve design conflicts before construction.
6. Prepare detailed MEP Shop Drawings for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary, and Fire Protection systems.
7. Coordinate and facilitate BIM data sharing, model access, and communication among project stakeholders.
8. Generate technical documents and reports from BIM models, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, cost estimation support, technical specifications, and material schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
• Have experience 0-3 years in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) projects is required.(New grad welcome)
• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit MEP, ArchiCAD or equivalent platforms.
• Strong knowledge of creating and managing 3D BIM models and integrating data from multiple disciplines.
• Familiar with BIM analysis tools and simulation processes, such as structural analysis, HVAC airflow simulation, material performance analysis, or other engineering simulations.
• Able to travel and work at various project sites assigned by the company.
• Willing to work 6 days per week.
