Biogas Plant Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily biogas plant operations, maintenance, and equipment servicing.
• Monitor plant performance and troubleshoot operational and technical issues.
• Supervise plant operators and coordinate staff training.
• Conduct POME laboratory testing, analyze results, and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement in plant efficiency and operational performance.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in biogas, power generation, palm oil mills, or a related industry is an advantage.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience in mechanical, electrical, or control systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and willing to learn.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for communication with expatriate colleagues from China.

Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project schedules, activities, and engineering deliverables.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works meet approved drawings and specifications.
• Track project budgets, costs, and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate procurement activities and liaise with contractors, consultants, MIDA, and relevant government authorities.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Familiarity with engineering principles, project management, and site supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or similar engineering software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel and conduct site visits as required.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for communication with expatriate colleagues from China.
