Engineer (Bulding Services) (Ref. BS/28/595)

We are seeking a dedicated Engineer to join our team for the Hospital Minor Works Term Contract.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily site works, manage subcontractors, and liaise directly with the Maintenance Surveyor (MS) to ensure projects are adequately staffed and on schedule;
• Perform site measurement checks with the quantity surveying team and the MS's representatives;
• Supervise subcontractors, specialist subcontractors, and its site foreman;
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, including design, construction, site safety, cost control, and material procurement;
• Work closely with the Main Contractor and attend all necessary site and progress meetings.

Requirements:

• Holder of Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma or above in Building Services Engineering;
• At least 6 years of relevant working experience in government or hospital minor works projects;
• Must complete a 43-hour Safety Supervisor training course (e.g., OSHC or CIC);
• Knowledge in BIM/MIMEP will be an advantage;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical information;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams;
• Proactive, drive to success and able to work independently;
• Proficiency in Microsoft office;
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Cantonese.
