Engineer - Chinese Speaker

The Engineer - Chinese Speaker role provides technical support for complex printed circuit board equipment and software solutions at customer facilities. Based in Prachinburi, the position covers troubleshooting, repairs, installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance while working closely with customers and internal engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities involving the troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of complex equipment at customer facilities
• Resolve equipment installation and upgrade issues
• Coordinate equipment schedules to minimise system downtime
• Build strong customer relationships, establish technical credibility, and communicate with different levels of customers’ technical organisations
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system design and performance
• Prepare field service reports covering customer support activities and provide relevant documentation to supporting functions regarding recurring problems
• Document service and installation activities by completing the required forms, reports, logs, and records
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance
• Follow applicable safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in field service or equipment maintenance, preferably within the semiconductor or printed circuit board industry
• Candidates without prior experience may be considered for an entry-level position
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Initiative and the ability to work independently
• Ability to work overtime and travel at short notice
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Fluency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers
