Job Summary

Responsible for planning, supervising, and executing civil maintenance activities and construction projects. The role involves ensuring the quality, safety, timely completion, and cost-effective execution of civil works while maintaining buildings, structures, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day civil maintenance activities.
• Inspect buildings, structures, flooring, roofing, walls, roads, drainage, and other civil infrastructure.
• Identify defects, prepare maintenance requirements, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Execute civil construction, renovation, modification, and expansion projects.
• Prepare estimates, BOQs, material requirements, and work schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements before execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal departments.
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower, material usage, work progress, and productivity.
• Ensure civil works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship.
• Monitor project costs and assist in controlling expenses within the approved budget.
• Verify measurements, contractor bills, work quantities, and completed works.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of construction materials.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements and site safety procedures.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, project progress, measurements, drawings, and reports.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports for management.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Investigate recurring civil defects and recommend permanent corrective solutions.
• Support facility improvement, energy-saving, infrastructure-upgradation, and modification projects.
• Coordinate testing, inspection, snag rectification, handover, and project close-out activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at project and maintenance sites.

Technical Responsibilities

• Civil works including RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, roofing, and structural repairs.
• Road, paving, drainage, sewerage, and external development works.
• Building repair and renovation works.
• Quantity surveying, estimation, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.
• Contractor management and work certification.
• Reading and interpreting civil/structural drawings.
• Quality inspection and material verification.
• Project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Relevant experience in civil maintenance, construction, facilities, or project execution.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality standards, and safety practices.

Desired Skills

• AutoCAD and basic engineering drawing knowledge.
• MS Excel and MS Office.
• Project planning and coordination.
• Quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
• Contractor and vendor management.
• Problem-solving and site supervision.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance and project activities simultaneously.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
