Key responsibilities

• Undertake civil/structural design and engineering calculations.
• Prepare design drawings, specifications, reports, and tender documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and checking of engineering designs.
• Coordinate engineering works with other disciplines.
• Liaise with contractors and consultants on day-to-day technical matters.
• Attend site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Review shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Assist in resolving design and site-related technical issues.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
• Monitor assigned engineering deliverables and meet project deadlines.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering consultancy.
• Registered with BEM as Graduate Engineer; Professional Engineer status is an advantage.
• Good experience in engineering design, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Good knowledge of relevant Malaysian Standards, guidelines, and authority requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant engineering/design software.
• Able to independently carry out assigned engineering works.
• Good coordination skills with clients, contractors, authorities, and other consultants.
• Experience in water, wastewater, infrastructure, building, or related projects is an advantage.
