EcoSteel specialises in engineered steel building solution, providing both structural and architectural solution for residential, commercial and architecturally complex buildings. Our scope ranges from engineered supply solutions to full design, supply and installation.

We are expanding our engineering and project capabilities and are seeking an experienced Engineer to support project planning, coordinate site execution and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This role is suited for someone who enjoys solving engineering and site challenges, coordinating trades, and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Coordination & Execution

• Own day-to-day site operations, including planning and organising work sequences, subcontractor activities, and resource scheduling.

• Resolve engineering and site issues by coordinating practical, cost-effective solutions.

• Ensure safe work practices are maintained on site at all times.

Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management

• Identify, source and engage suitable subcontractors and site service providers.

• Liaise with main contractors, consultants and project stakeholders, including representing EcoSteel at site meetings and project discussions.

Quality & Compliance

• Monitor site progress and workmanship, and conduct QA/QC inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

Technical & Design Coordination

• Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.

• Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare progress updates, technical reports and project documentation for management.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural or related discipline).

• Minimum 5 years' experience in site coordination, supervision and project execution, with demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions on site.

• Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.

• Strong practical knowledge of construction site operations and engineering principles.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Good written and spoken English; ability to communicate in Chinese or local dialects is an advantage.

• Mature, reliable and hands-on.
