Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct prior art searches using various databases such as USPTO, FTO, and Landscape to identify existing patents and assess the novelty of new inventions.
• Analyze complex technical information related to chemical formulations, processes, and products to determine patentability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chemists, engineers, and attorneys to develop strategies for protecting intellectual property rights.
• Provide expert testimony in court proceedings regarding infringement issues related to pharmaceuticals.

Job Requirements :

• 2-9 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of patent laws and regulations governing the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proficiency in conducting thorough prior art searches using specialized software tools like Prior Art Search (FTO) or PatentScope.
