Systems Engineer (Programmer) - 1 Position

Responsibilities and Tasks - Systems Engineer

• Follow up the systems engineering process including, requirements management process, interface management process, system engineering management process, system integration process, and related activities.
• Review systems engineering documents of overall system and sub-systems, taking into account the requirements, regulations and standards
• Reviewing time schedules and plans to fulfill project requirements
• Project-specific interface, configuration and document management
• Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure requirements and interface management activities are being undertaken as per the General and Technical Specifications
• Site inspections, Testing & Commissioning coordination
• Participate in System Integration

Qualification

• University degree, preferably in rail engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
• Experience (minimum 2 years), ideally in railway transportation systems or large infrastructure projects
• Sound specialist knowledge in establishing system engineering processes, applications/systems and documentation
• Proficient in the use of requirements management tools e.g. IBM DOORS
• Knowledge of engineering processes and standards associated with system engineering
• Fluent English
• Independent and structured approach to work
• Excellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities and Tasks - Systems Engineer (Programmer)

• Development of the Project Management Information System (PIMS) includes performing system administration, help desk, solving bugs, implementing modifications according to user requests, conducting training, and preparing user manuals.
• Supporting the systems engineering process including, requirements management process, interface management process, system engineering management process, system integration process, and related activities.
• Gathering user requirements with key stakeholders for the development and improvement of the PIMS
• Participate in site inspections, Testing & Commissioning activities and System Integration activities

Qualification

• University degree, preferably in computer science, computer technology and computer engineering
• No minimum of working experience is required
• Fluent English
• Independent and structured approach to work
• Excellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills
• Basic Coding on PHP, SQL, C++, C# and database systems.
