Engineer

Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• Design the flows of power distribution to all workstations in the plant.
• Manage and maintain power source machinery and power distribution electrical equipment.
• Responsible for the safety, quality and cost-effective execution of High and Medium Voltage electrical works for the entire plant.
• Conduct research on the environmental impact of power production.
• Liaisee with Sarawak Energy Berhad immediately if there is any faulty or electricity supply interruption from the incoming line.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QAQC) Engineer

• Maintain processes to align with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, leading internal, supplier, and system audits to ensure full audit readiness.
• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning activities and assemble complete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages for customer approval.
• Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints using the 8D problem-solving framework to implement effective CAPA.
• Conduct vendor capability audits and incoming parts inspections.
• Handle customer complaints, log failure feedback, and ensure prompt resolution and reporting.

Planning Engineer

• Develop, monitor, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for the plant’s potlines (smelting reduction lines) and Cast House operations.
• Serve as the central point of contact during operational bottlenecks, power rationing, or equipment downtime to realign schedules immediately and minimize production loss.
• Manage the internal transfer of molten aluminum from reduction cells to holding furnaces and casting lines to optimize heat loss and throughput.
• Prepare consolidated daily plant performance, target variance, and yield efficiency reports for senior management.
• Analyze process bottlenecks, downtime root causes, and schedule compliance rates to optimize operational workflows and lower energy consumption per metric ton.

Mechanical Engineer

• Oversee the casting process and ensure finished aluminum products meet quality standards.
• Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and output.
• Conduct performance evaluations and root cause analyses for technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and customer requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of engineering activities and continuous improvements.

Chemical Engineering

• Perform Pure Aluminium Inspection Analysis and maintain quality standards.
• Support ISO 17025 compliance and laboratory procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process or equipment issues efficiently.
• Ensure tools and equipment are accurate, reliable, and well-maintained.
• Contribute to process improvement and resource management initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering/QAQC Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Planning Engineering/Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar engineering role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g. CAD, FEA, PLM)
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
