Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production line operations, manage equipment maintenance, repairs, and parts sourcing, and lead continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize production;
• Provide on-site technical support, manage on-going quality control and related work supervision;
• Plan and manage end-to-end engineering projects in alignment with company development policy and strategy;
• Assist the Engineering Manager in project supervision, including supplier selection, budgeting, and project schedule monitoring to ensure deadlines are met;
• Act as liaison with government departments and regulatory bodies.
• Train and mentor Assistant Engineers and Technicians to build technical competence across the team;
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in an Engineering discipline (e.g. Production, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Building Services) or a related field;
• 3 years of engineering experience in the manufacturing industry, including machinery installation, maintenance, and project supervision;
• Proficiency in PC applications including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD;
• Knowledge and experience in industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA and food manufacturing would be an advantage.
• Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese;
