Engineer

• Supervise and coordinate all tile fixing and installation works at the project site.
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and approved material samples before starting work.
• Ensure tiles are installed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Check and prepare surfaces before tile installation, including levels, alignment, waterproofing, and substrate condition.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, tile masons, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Take accurate site measurements and calculate tile quantities and material requirements.
• Monitor tile cutting, laying, leveling, spacing, grouting, and finishing.
• Ensure proper slope, alignment, level, joints, patterns, and tile thickness.
• Inspect completed areas and identify defects such as hollow tiles, uneven levels, cracks, poor alignment, or improper joints.
• Maintain daily records of work completed, manpower, materials used, measurements, and site progress.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection requests, checklists, and measurement sheets.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and rectification of rejected work.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of tiles and related materials.
• Monitor material wastage and maintain efficient use of materials.
• Ensure workers follow approved method statements, safety procedures, and site regulations.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
• Assist in preparing BOQ measurements and quantity calculations for completed works.
• Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
• Report site issues, delays, material shortages, and technical problems to the Project/Site Engineer.
• Supervise snagging, rectification, and final finishing works before handover.
• Ensure completed tile works meet the required quality, safety, and finishing standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must own a car and hold a valid UAE driving licence.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and construction site management.
• At least 3 years of experience in interior fit-out and construction projects in the UAE.
• Fluent in both English and Hindi.
• Proficient in using AI agents, AutoCAD and Autodesk 3ds Max.
• Familiar with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling, masonry and painting works.
• Need to arrange own accommodation.
