About the role

IMETAL (M) SDN BHD is a premier roofing company in Sarawak specializing in manufacturing metal roofing, cold form and hot rolled welded trusses, ceiling, dome and façade. The company also specializes in design, supply and install for these products and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems. As an Engineer, you will design and analyze structural steel, metal roofing, PEB systems and facades.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural steel, metal roofing, PEB systems and facades
• Ensure all designs conform strictly to building codes, safety regulations and relevant industry standards
• Review technical drawings and resolve structural design and installation issues on-site
• Optimize structural steel components using specialized design software
• Collaborate with external contractors and internal teams for smooth project delivery

About you

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Registered Graduate Engineer with BEM (PEPC is an added advantage)
• Minimum 5 years of proven design experience
• Strong proficiency in structural design software and industry codes
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership and teamwork abilities with excellent communication skills
