Engineer

1.0 Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and compliance with production schedules.
• Analyse production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and machinery to identify maintenance requirements and minimise equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with the Production Planning team to ensure accurate production scheduling and efficient resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate production records, equipment performance reports, and process documentation.
• Support production capacity planning and process improvement projects to maximise resource utilisation.
• Liaise closely with the Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Participate in new equipment installation, process validation, and engineering improvement projects.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

2.0 Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or plant operations. Experience in the metal manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production and equipment-related issues.
• Good understanding of quality management systems, occupational health and safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,800.00 per month
