SGEN is seeking a full-time Engineer to join our growing team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a critical part in the design, planning, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects that support our mission to advance renewable energy solutions. This position is fundamental to ensuring the technical excellence and structural integrity of our developments, contributing directly to the company's success and growth in the sustainable energy sector.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop civil and structural engineering solutions for renewable energy projects, including solar installations and associated infrastructure
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability and structural requirements
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using industry-standard software and tools
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and engineering standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, project managers, and contractors to deliver integrated project solutions
• Oversee construction and installation phases, ensuring work is executed according to specifications and safety protocols
• Conduct quality inspections and testing to verify structural integrity and system performance
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation for stakeholders and regulatory authorities
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and permits
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution

• Professional Engineering (PE) licence or equivalent qualification in civil or structural engineering

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in civil or structural engineering design and project delivery

• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to construction and renewable energy projects

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience in renewable energy projects, particularly solar installations, is highly desirable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments

• Project management experience and familiarity with construction methodologies is advantageous

• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in engineering design
