Job Summary: We are recruiting for an Engineer opportunity focused on hands-on support for manufacturing and engineering teams in a GMP- and FDA-regulated cleanroom environment. This position plays an important part in troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and lifecycle support for equipment and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on field support to manufacturing and engineering teams for troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects, including equipment-related scope from initiation through completion.
• Perform field evaluations, engineering design recommendations, and third-party vendor escort while collaborating across maintenance, instrumentation, manufacturing, quality, and process engineering.
• Support system ownership, lifecycle management, preventative maintenance, and calibration coordination within a GMP / FDA regulated cleanroom environment.

Required

• Master degree, or Bachelor degree with 2 years of experience, or Associate degree with 6 years of experience, or High school diploma / GED with 8 years of experience.
• Hands-on equipment troubleshooting experience.
• Drug substance manufacturing experience, with a Biotech/Pharma background.
• Continuous improvement experience, including root cause analysis.
• Experience with Maximo and obsolete component analysis and functionally equivalence.
• GMP and FDA regulated cleanroom experience; previous intern experience is a plus, and automation experience with Delta V, SQL, VBA, PLC, drug substance systems, chromatography, filtration, single-use and stainless steel product trains, and various mixers is a plus.
