Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Die Design and Development
• Design, develop and modify two die sets according to engineering drawings, product specifications and customer requirements.
• Prepare and review die drawings, 2D/3D CAD models, tooling layouts and technical documentation.
• Coordinate die fabrication, machining, fitting, assembly and try-out activities.
• Die Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for both die sets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems, die wear, misalignment, dimensional defects and tooling failures.
• Identify root causes of die-related issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Production Support
• Provide technical support during die setup, trial runs and mass production.
• Ensure both dies meet required production output, dimensional accuracy and product quality standards.
• Minimize downtime, scrap and production interruptions caused by die-related problems.
• Continuous Improvement
• Improve die design, tooling life, cycle time, reliability and ease of maintenance.
• Monitor die performance and recommend modifications to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.
• Implement corrective actions based on production feedback, defect analysis and maintenance records.
• Documentation and Safety
• Maintain die drawings, maintenance schedules, repair records, spare parts lists and tooling history for both dies.
• Ensure die-making activities comply with company procedures, engineering standards and workplace safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of engineering activities.

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
