Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee daily service operations to ensure efficient delivery of maintenance, repair and technical support services.

2. Lead, supervise and coordinate service engineers and technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company standards.

3. Plan, schedule and allocate manpower, equipment and resources for service and maintenance activities.

4. Monitor service performance, identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and service quality.

5. Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

6. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality, standards and customer requirements.

7. Liaise with clients, management, contractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical and operational matters.

8. Prepare and review maintenance reports, service reports, quotations, technical proposals, and project documentation.

9. Monitor service KPIs, maintenance schedules, and contractual obligations to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.

10. Identify Opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization and operational efficiency.

11. Support business development activities by providing technical expertise during client meetings and site assessments.

12. Stay updated with industry developments, new technologies and engineering best practices.

13. Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in service engineering, maintenance operations or technical field services.

2. Proven experience in managing operations, coordinating multiple tasks/projects and overseeing service teams.

3. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with the capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and service management systems.

6. Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of operational outcomes.

8. Possess a customer-focused mindset with commitment to service excellence.

9. Experience in MCST, facility maintenance, security systems, access control systems or related industries will be an advantage.
