What youll do

• Set, monitor, and optimize injection molding process parameters to achieve stable production and consistent product quality.
• Control parameters such as injection pressure, injection speed, holding pressure, screw speed, barrel temperature, mold temperature, cooling time, back pressure, and cycle time.
• Develop and maintain optimized process parameters for different molds, machines, and materials.
• Conduct process trials during new mold development, mold modification, material changes, and process improvements.
• Ensure processes are operated according to approved standards and process sheets.

2. Injection Molding Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

• Identify and troubleshoot molding defects such as short shot, flash, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, weld lines, flow marks, silver streaks, black spots, dimensional variation, and color variation.
• Analyze machine, mold, material, and process-related causes of defects.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Material teams to resolve recurring process issues.
• Reduce rejection, rework, downtime, and material wastage through systematic problem-solving methods.

What we are looking for

• Results-oriented Injection Molding Process Professional with strong expertise in injection molding process development, process control, troubleshooting, optimization, productivity improvement, and process variability reduction. Experienced in managing complete molding processes from new product and mold trials through process stabilization, mass production, continuous improvement, and quality enhancement.
• Strong technical knowledge of injection molding machines, mold technology, process parameters, material behavior, auxiliary equipment, robotics, and automation systems. Skilled in establishing and optimizing critical parameters including injection speed, injection pressure, holding pressure, back pressure, screw speed, barrel temperature, mold temperature, cooling time, and overall cycle time to achieve stable and repeatable production.
• Experienced in processing engineering polymers including PC, PMMA, PBT, PA6, PA66, and PC+ABS, with a good understanding of material drying, dehumidification, processing temperatures, moisture control, material handling, and material-specific molding requirements.
• Proficient in injection molding troubleshooting and systematic problem solving, with the ability to identify machine, mold, material, and process-related issues. Experienced in resolving molding defects such as short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, weld lines, flow marks, silver streaks, black spots, dimensional variation, and color variation through structured Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong exposure to CFS/material feeding systems, dehumidification systems, dryers, mold temperature controllers, hot runner systems, conveyors, and other auxiliary equipment. Experienced in monitoring auxiliary equipment performance and ensuring proper material conditioning and uninterrupted production.
