Engineer (Contract 1 year) – IT Support

Resnonsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact (Level 1) for end-users of the project, supporting approximately 2,500 computers via phone, email, and chat.

• Receive, answer, and troubleshoot user inquiries on basic hardware, software, Windows, and network/connectivity issues.

• Open, categorize, and log every request into the ticketing system, and follow up each ticket through to resolution.

• Coordinate and dispatch onsite engineers/technicians for issues that cannot be resolved remotely, and follow up until the case is closed.

• Handle warranty/repair claims with vendors and suppliers, and track RMA/replacement status.

• Keep users updated on case progress, status, and resolution.

• Update asset and ticket records in the system, and generate daily, weekly, and monthly helpdesk reports.

• Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the relevant support teams.

• Provide One-Stop Service for all customer needs related to the project.

• May be required to work on shifts to support project operating hours, including nights/weekends and on-call when needed.

Skills/Attributes:

• No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.

• Service-minded with good communication skills for helpdesk support.

• Ability to work independently and as a team player.

• Ability to learn and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows, and networking is a plus.

• Experience in IT helpdesk, support, or monitoring is a plus.

• Must be able to work on shifts to support operations, including nights and weekends; on-call environment.

Qualification:

• Not required (0 years) – fresh graduates are welcome.
• Education: Vocational Certificate (ปวช.) or higher in Computer, IT, or any related field.
