Engineer Coordinator

About the role

This role involves coordinating engineering activities, managing project schedules, and maintaining comprehensive engineering documentation. You will liaise with project teams, site personnel, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities and project schedules
• Monitor project progress and follow up on pending tasks
• Prepare, maintain, and control engineering documents, drawings, and reports
• Coordinate with project teams, site personnel, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Track material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and as-built drawings
• Assist with procurement by coordinating material specifications and delivery schedules
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and engineering records
• Ensure engineering documentation complies with company procedures and project requirements
• Support project handover and close-out documentation

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply if applicable)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines
