Engineer CSA

We are looking for a CSA Engineer to join our project team, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising civil, structural and architectural works, ensuring that construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works at the project site.
• Review and coordinate construction drawings, shop drawings, architectural details and technical submissions.
• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
• Coordinate CSA works with M&E, Fire Protection and other project disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders on technical and site-related matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality and compliance.
• Monitor structural and architectural works including concrete works, structural works, walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, finishes and other building works.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, site discrepancies and coordination problems.
• Review and monitor method statements, material submissions, inspection requests and related technical documents.
• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining site reports, inspection records, as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Coordinate with relevant parties during testing, inspection, handover and rectification works.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with project safety, quality and statutory requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Master in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in CSA, civil, structural or architectural works, preferably in building construction.
• Experience in hotel, commercial building, high-rise building or residential projects will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of civil, structural and architectural construction works.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, structural drawings and architectural drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM/Revit is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of construction methods, site coordination and quality control.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to work at project site and travel when required.
